It's a Dog's Life

They didn't say they'd be away for hours and hours. How can I possibly be expected to sail this rubber ducky apology back to the boat when I'm so doggone tired!!!

This morning's paddle to Bushes Beach, in Kaiarara Bay, near Port Fitzroy. The winds got up again about midday, as forecast, and we were pleased we'd taken notice and got back to the camp before the worst of the SE gusts hit. It's drizzling again now but I've been sitting under the shelter of a little awning that I just 'engineered' out of the front 'door'! We may get one more paddle in tomorrow morning, before the sou-easters crank up too much.

It's been pointed out to me that the correct spelling of Kaiaraara Bay has two 'a's in the middle. I'm assuming it's pronounced kai-a-ra-ara - anyone know?

Thanks so much everyone for your super response to yesterday's Misty Morning at Medlands - I was thrilled with all the comments and hearts and stars!!! I'm delighted that you liked it so much.
