We had some friends from Guildford join us for the day.

This afternoon, as the light was fading, the men folk worked on making the chicken coop more fox-proof and the girlies went dog walking.
I was more than happy to dog walk in the rain and mud.

A heron flew over our heads and we were relieved and in awe as it relieved itself midair a good distance away. The quantity was extraordinary!!!
