Gnarled

The effects of continual buffeting by the elements is evident on this Silver Birch on an exposed mound at Victoria Bridge, Loch Tulla.     

The extreme rain over the past fortnight has greatly increased the area of the loch and with all its feeder rivers in spate the flooding will get worse especially as further heavy rain is forecast for the next 24 hours.
