Mad dogs and Paterson's...

..choose to go to the beach on the coldest, wettest and windiest day of the the year so far.

It was my planned birthday 'treat' as all are back to college/work tomorrow on my actual birthday.  Goodness it was cold and James and Martin had come without a hat.  By the end of our walk both were wearing items I'd brought, more photos here.

The fish and chips and penny slot parts of the day were a welcome relief from the icy rain.

There is much unrest in the blip camp as our crowdfunding campaign is still a long way off target.  Great, thoughtful post here from Davidd (who knows about the costs of managing such things) which I hope will encourage a few more pledges.  There is an important meeting on 11th January and if not enough money has been pledged then that could be it, and you'd miss my daily ramblings wouldn't you?  Go on admit it!
