Long way round

Travelled over to see friends who have been flooded in Hebden Bridge. Heartbreakingly sad that so many people are displaced, yet their community spirit and positive attitude is awe inspiring. There but the grace....

The traffic was so horrendous that we travelled the long way round over the moors. Even at the top of the Pennines the roads were all like rivers or lakes. It was too wet to be out in the elements for too long..... when is it ever going to stop raining......
