Signs (3) - Old school

Another truly dreadful wet and miserable day. It was brightened considerably by the exploits of the England cricket team in Cape Town - though unlike the odious Mr Boycott I'll take nothing for granted until the series has actually been won!

Poplar Grove runs between the two streets previously featured and this was the closest new sign I could find on such a foul day. The new corporate style road signs in the borough may look more clean and efficient but for some reason I still rather like the old  traditional ones. This one of course has fallen rather too far into disrepair in its position high up on the flank wall of a house.
