YOU HAD TO BEE THERE
So delighted by the arrival of the sun once more that I spent quite a bit of the morning just walking round the garden welcoming the bees back. I can't identify this one at all, can anyone help? (Since identified as a hoverfly)
Hero of the day: Cliff the broadband engineer, who got us back in touch with the world after 24 hours of internet silence. It made me realise how overdependent I am on being online. I had to take down a dictionary and blow the dust off.
Very small person came for an extra play date this afternoon as his nursery is closed for the holidays. He takes his position as undergardener very seriously - knows what should be put in the compost heap and where to hang the tools. I get an occasional row for leaving my tools lying about.
Lazy evening, just sitting in the sun, harvesting herbs for drying
THREE GOOD THINGS:
Bookings for the autumn retreat going well
Blackbird song - they seem to be as delighted to see the sun as I am
Being online again
