Something rustic

Had some work to do this afternoon in Annan and whilst I was there I thought I'd have a look at the old harbour which I'd heard was being restored.  I don't know what it was like before, but still a lot of work to be done!  There were a couple of derelict boats there and I zoomed into one of them for today's blip.  Afterwards I popped in to say hello to somebody I know and to wish her happy new year.  Not much of a happy new year for her though as she fell over whilst visiting her son for Christmas and has some cracked ribs and in a lot of pain. 

Took the back road to the motorway from Annan to Gretna in the hope I may get to see the starlings but no luck.  But when I was driving through the outskirts of Carlisle I saw a murmuration and stopped to watch them but it was raining so will have to go back soon.
