Insight

Mum brought this a gift for me, and one for my sister, when she visited Suffolk in October.  For some reason she didn't give them to us, so it was left for Steve to do that when we visited last week.  This little box is special for so many reasons, but I particularly love the fact it has a Willliam Morris design on it - a hint to the many interests Mum had, which included plants, gardening and the natural world more generally, poetry, literature, and social history and politics.  I will miss the discussions we had about about these (and so many other) topics and the insights she gave to me, but at least I can take these on into the world with me.  I have been very fortunate.
