Blankets

Today we spent such a happy afternoon with our closest refugee friends starting our tie-blanket project (we're very thankful for kind friends helping us buy the blankets!). It was so lovely not just to give them blankets but to get them 'making' them too (we learnt how to do it on good-old wiki how!). The children all busily made them while I sat and chatted to the mum. I love how ours and their children get on so well. They couldn't be more different in a way- totally different backgrounds, life experiences and opportunities but that just doesn't seem to matter at all.
