said Richard just now as I was trying to decide which photo to choose.

We saw this baby adder in the sand dunes today. I seem to have made it look bigger than it was!

The rain stayed away all day today and we were even treated to a bit of blue sky this afternoon and evening. It seems so long since I've looked up at a blue sky.

The weather meant that today was a richer day - photograph-wise - and that has really cheered me up. That, plus the yoga, the flute-playing, the walk at Putsborough, some quiet time dead-heading roses and tidying up my bushes (yes, I have more than one! ;o) )
