East and west

Backblipping our trip to Hong Kong

Our last day before starting the long trip back home.

We shopped a bit - including a new camera for me which was a thrill.

Took in the feel of the main city centre a bit more, its quite overwhelming at first, with life going on at every level - on the street busy with cars, between the buildings with walkways full of rushing people, and of course into the sky, where the shops, schools, offices and everything else are.

Quite a place and we felt lucky to visit. Unfamiliar enough to feel like somewhere very special to visit, but familiar enough (the road signs, the street names) to find your place in it.

In the end, we sat still for a while, for tea and then a wee beer, and watched life go by on the busy streets.
