The last and first

Our last night of partying of the Christmas holiday season 2015 is also our first of 2016.

We started off at K and J's, with L and G, for Champagne (blipped) and hors d'oeuvres. Then we walked around the corner for B and B's annual New Year bash. B and B's New Year party is a mainstay of our social calendar (as evidenced in blips for January 2nd 2015 and January 2nd 2014).

Earlier in the day I went out for a run around Arthur's Seat, then settled back into holiday domestic mode with a spot of cooking and knitting (while working my way through the chocolate mine). I could get used to this lifetsyle...

Thank you to everyone for their comments, stars and hearts on the PledgeBlipfoto Scrabble board that I posted yesterday. It actually took very little time to put together - perhaps 15 minutes in total.

Exercise today: Arthur's Seat run in 38'16", plus 7,622 steps of walking to parties and home again.
