I remember at the beginning of the week commenting that I ddin't have a bedroom to gut whilst my boy was away since we had already done that recently. I hadn't anticipated that this would be the week we would start to create an office for my man, which in turn impacts on my girl's room.

Today we cleared out anything to do with school, be it primary or secondary and prepared her room. She was to inherit the spare room double bed in an attempt to clear the room but more importantly stop her curling up in her brother's bed. I think we may need to get her a new bed. She is not complaining.

This afternoon her primary school pal came round for a catch up. She is leaving soon for the States to study for a year. They couldn't stay still and laughed like drains all the way through my attempts. Both wanted an photograph to keep, neither prepared to help in any way. When she left I felt my girl's mood drop. She will miss her dearly. I think between that and the clearing my girl suddenly realised it's all change for her soon.
