Party's over

says it all - discarded hat- rain sodden, festivities over and on to the new year ;bottle bank fed and fridge empty despite constant refuelling- , no more: clomping heels, cackling outbursts, disrupted quiet book reading moments , borrowed make up ( misplaced) handed down jewellery (lost) 
fashion sense (criticised )...and all because daughter leaving tomorrow , back to Rome, and despite all that she will be much missed .
