Tobermory Bay from Aros Pier

It poured most of the day, but that didn't stop us driving along the single track road with passing places to Tobermory.  We have sailed into the harbour before, and also along the Sound of Mull when visiting Coll and Tiree, but never stepped ashore here.  We watched the small ferry crossing from here to Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.  Such beautiful scenery around here. 

The colourful houses around the bay are known to CBBC viewers at Balamory.

A walk along the shore path to Aros Park gave me this view across to the town.
