All over

Well that's it; all over for another year, at least in this household. The decorations are down, packed up and back in the loft, the house has been dusted, polished and hoovered, and the last of the turkey is in this pie which is about to go into the oven. It's always fun but it's good to get the house back to normal again. There are some nuts and an unopened bag of pretzels still to get through but then I can give some serious thought to reducing my waistline. Like I did last year. And the year before that. And........

Thank you for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts on my Blip yesterday. It was good to see so many Blippers joining in with their Blips on the day promoting the fundraising to rescue the site; it will be so sad if it disappears. The last time I looked there was around £80k pledged which is fantastic but unfortunately way short of the £180k required to buy the site. Hopefully it is enough for the interim negotiations to take place shortly; fingers crossed but in the meantime please continue to try and get the message out there; Blip needs your money (in fact, anybody's money!).
