open buds

At long last the Christmas cactus has opened up.
I drove home this morning and had a really good journey back up north. There is a daffodil bud now in the garden, see the extra photo. After lunch I had a walk down to the Leeds Liverpool canal at Crooke before the rain came and to get my fresh air and exercise, it was very muddy and I only met 2 dog walkers.
