Life on ice!

Finally we got winter weather here! It has been under -10 C past few days and this morning even -16 C which makes lake ice even stronger everyday. It's now about 15 cm thick in most places on Lake Saimaa and the best thing is that we don't have hardly any snow, which has made lake ice crystal clear and very smooth. It's a real pleasure to skate on ice on beautiful day as today. I was not skating today, but looking for geocaches with my camera. One of those caches and so far the funniest cache I ever found in extra image. It was placed in tree around 3 meters high from the ground. Luckily it was easy tree to climb up :-)
