The Good Ol' Days

A step back in time to give Arthur a taste of British history at the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke. A wonderful museum, I took Valerie here about twelve years ago. Later this evening we will watch Master and Commander on DVD so that Arthur can see what life was like when the H.M.S. Victory sailed, having now visited that glorious vessel. Hopefully, he will also understand why I am so obsessed with Patrick O'Brian's novels.
