Setting Free

This afternoon Marie and I had the privilege of watching 4 Little German Owls being released back to Nature. They were so soft and warm to hold and had Big eyes they were gorgeous. These girls were with the Z, who originally rescued the Owls when they were babies, they had been blown out of their nest during strong winds we had a few months ago. Z sent them to the Bird Rescue Hospital in Christchurch so they could be looked after. GingerNan had the honour of nursing them and another.
