Gone fishin'

After a damp & foggy morning, the sun came out after lunch.

This was my cue to escape my desk for a few minutes. Felt an urgent call to head out for coffee & a scone, plus some sea air. It's July after all. Time to take the foot off the gas just a little.

High tide down at the harbour. It's not usually busy on a midweek afternoon, so I was surprised to see so many anglers. School holidays? But they're not all schoolkids.

The mackerel were definitely biting.
