A Wild Ride

Blipfoto has been an amazing and wild ride, and the ride's not over yet.  We are coasting into 2016 with uncertainty, but determination.  My first knowledge of blipfoto came to me while talking with Patricia Davidson
while meeting her for the first time.  She lived in our community and we had become Face Book friends due to mutual friends and their interest in her photography.  I had some questions and we decided to meet over lunch.  During that lunch, she shared a fantastic story about how wonderful it had been for her to "meet" people from all around the world, and hear their stories.  She talked about meeting some of them in person, and the amazingly friendly community that could be found here.  Feeling the need and a desire for a creative outlet, I joined immediately and fell in love with the process of connecting with people around the world through friendly chats on a, then, daily basis.  I have learned so many things I would have never known, and feel a lasting bond with so many blippers.

Now blipfoto needs us.  If you haven't already read about the possibility of blipfoto shutting down, you can catch up on the details through blipcentral's blog or at this web site:

If you think you could fall in love with a steady stream of friendly and talented people, please consider donating and encouraging someone to join.  Blipfoto is more than a place to go online and post photos.  It is a family to love and share life with.  A family I would miss very much if they were no longer here.  I would miss the memories of my blips very much too.  So much history recorded here in a few short years.  A journal that has the potential of helping me to re-orient myself when I begin to forget where I've been.  Something that helps me walk the path of gratitude.
