The future of blip

Let's hope that the future of Blip is as bright as the day was here!   When I told my granddaughters that Blip is in danger of disappearing, Kalyn said, "That would make you sad, wouldn't it?"   Yes, it would.  I can look at all kinds of photos on other sites, but I have yet to find another one that provides such an extraordinary opportunity to connect with interesting people all over the world, to interact with some of you daily, to see incredible photos that inspire me to improve mine.  It has been moving to read how much Blip means to so many of you.  I hope those of us who are able to pledge do so to help the people at BlipCentral keep this site alive.
What better way to start 2016 than with a walk in Ruckle Park, one of the most spectacular places I've seen?  A beautiful sunny day, hovering around 0 degrees, wonderfully invigorating.  G put his Cowichan toque and his sunglasses on top of a post to help me get a photo for Blip and for the weekly challenge of depth of field.   This might be my entry.
