Blipfuture

Around this time last year the Blipfoto community was rattled by the change of ownership to Polaroid.  This year we are faced with the potential closure of the site and as a mark of solidarity from the community our photos for today are dedicated to raising awareness of the bid to secure its future by crowdfunding

For my contribution I played around with some handmade Bokeh effects overlaid in Photoshop onto a photo of a Christmas Ponsietta.  Since joining Blip nearly 4 years ago, with encouragement from JohnGravett, my photography has expanded and, I feel improved. I have tried out many techniques I never even knew existed, gaining inspiration and encouragement from the community.
