A Glass Of Love and Gratitude

Brisk walk on the moors in the bitter winds.

I wasn't planning anything for New Year's Eve , so just had some reflective time on my own. It's mainly been a grand old year.

As I sat on a rock drinking this and breathing in all that soul enriching Yorkshire air , I raised a toast to a wonderful lady that we know who is terminally ill. She is handling it with such bravery and positivity even though she is terrified.

We can do nothing to alter her prognosis but we have crowd funded to get her a day trip to Lapland with her daughter so she could create some memories .

The only other thing we can do is appreciate and celebrate life and try and savour every moment .

And so a cold bitter December day became a tribute and a celebration . .

Think this is also some big Blip day which is another grand thing to be thankful for 5
whole years .That's as long as any fixed term mortgage I have had ...

Breathe in every moment because right now is all we have .
