Bluebottle being eaten

I think these blue things with the sting in the tail are called bluebottle in English, bloublasie in Afrikaans,but I might be wrong. I just know it stings a lot when you step on one by accident. Not sure if this one is dead, but a number of sea crabs were feasting on it.
