My World of Blip

.............is looking a little shaky  just at the moment.


By sheer coincidence today is my 1300th blip, so it feels a bit special anyway, even if it’s not an official blip day:-)

I hope that my photography has improved over this time and I know I have made some of the most wonderful friends, both virtual and real. Finding and posting a blip is part of my daily routine that has made me a happier, more observant and somewhat healthier person. My continuing back problems mean that I am unable to travel far, so long trips and holidays are not really an option for me just now and it’s fabulous to be able to join others on their adventures all over the world and see things that would otherwise be out of my reach.

If it all disappeared there would be a very large blip shaped hole in my life and I find it so hard to believe that the present owners of the site would rather wind it up completely and lose everything than accept whatever we can all raise, even if it’s not as much as they paid for it ( I know it’s not good business but surely they can see what Blip means to its core community).

  I have already pledged and will hopefully be able to pledge some more in a couple of weeks.
