Dobos Torte

I always thought that Vienna was the Queen when it came to patisserie, but I can tell you right here and now, that Budapest is the best there is.

This is Dobos Torte, an iconic cake in these parts.  I was taught how to make it by the Ex's mother, but I haven't done one for many years.  I shall have to have a go when I get home.

The extra is my best image today of the House of Parliament. The problem is that I simply couldn't get a shot without the little guy in the white mack.  He went everywhere I went and got into every single image!!
