Disneyland???

This looks like it could be a castle in a Disney film. It's actually the Pena Palace in Sintra, about a 40 min train ride outside Lisbon. Sintra is full of wonderful historical palaces and sites. We also went to a ruined castle originally build in the 10th Century when the Moors controlled the region. There's a lot more that we didn't get to see because everything closed early as it's New Year's Eve.
