With heavy rain forecast for the rest of the week I decided to take advantage today's good weather and go for a spin.

I went a new, off road, route to the nature reserve. I returned via the canal tow path, the scene of yesterday's excitement.

The route was quite muddy so both the bike and I had to be hosed down when I returned.
