Old Town

Backblip

We went into town again today to see the exhibition about TV in the UK - some classic puppets and things in there. I took some time to wander around the old cathedral and the streets around there. I find it interesting how taken I am with old buildings now that I live in a country with such a recent western history (Australia obviously has the oldest living culture, so I'll acknowledge that here too...). I didn't take it in to the same degree in the 25 years that I lived in Europe.

After the exhibition, we went to a really cool park with diggers and plenty of things for Miles and us adults to play on too. We weren't doing too badly with the jetlag thankfully, although Miles was definitely waking up much, much earlier than we'd like!
