Against all odds ....

"The 300 Spartans" in 1962 and "300" in 2006 are films about the battle of Thermopylae. They depict the Greek army led by 300 Spartans fighting against the overwhelming Persian army. Against all odds, the Spartans would not surrender ... the Persian invasion was eventually stopped largely due to the time bought by these Spartan warriors.

Today's blip is dedicated to everyone who has battled against the odds, or continues to do so every day, including some of our own Blippers such as Yorkshire Rambler. Thoughts are with you ....
