if these trees weren't there, I'd have to look at the cheesey ferris wheel, and if the ferris wheel wasn't there, then I might just-juuuussst get a glimpse of the sea from my kitchen window. I would have to bulldoze both the buildings either side of the pines too, probably.
Noticed tonight that the ferris wheel was operational. It's about 5 degrees and the foreshore dies after twilight, so good luck. But it does make me think that if they persist in mid-winter optimism that I might take my camera down there one evening. Might not look so cheesey as a long exposure.
