New Year, New Beginnings

So it's the end of 2015 and I can't say I'm sorry to see the back of it. But we have a lot to look forward to in 2016 with the end of my chemo and the arrival of our second granddaughter.

Today we've driven to our friends' in Northamptonshire where we're staying overnight and Scott drove down to collect Rachel and Scarlett. So before we left I wanted to take a photo of Scarlett holding her baby sister aka the bump.

We've had a lovely afternoon with Lorraine & Richard and their family and Scarlett has played really nicely with Emily and Eliza. We've had an Indian takeaway and lots of fizz but everyone else has left now, so we've been out for a doggy walk and are now chilling in front of the TV. We're going to watch the new year celebrations in London and have more champagne to toast the new year.
