Converted church, Balfron
This is the old (1700s) United Presbyterian church in Spinner Street, Balfron, which was used as a church hall for many years after the United Free and the Church of Scotland in the village were united. I remember taking a schoolgirl daughter there in the early 90s to play in a musical group to the WRI.
More recently the building has been converted into flats. The two flats at either end are enhanced by a stained glass window, while those facing the street have fabulous views of the Campsie Hills.
It's just a shame I blipped this on Bin Day!
