drookit dave and the wet weans

well turned out nice, sunny, beautiful, scottish today...warm witha hint of water..well it was dry for most of the day , managed to cut my dads hedge and weed his bed before attempting to cut his grass

had just started the strimming when splooosh!!!! the heavens opened and hey presto within seconds I was soaked to the skin!!! decided I would carry on as once wet there is no point running for cover..lol

finished up and drove paddled home ( the kids thought it was great fun especially when daddy couldn't see out the windows when big lorries passed ...!!!)

got home to find the old road in front of our house flooded ( 18-24 inches of water )..kids thought it would be good fun riding there bikes through it.....needless to say they got soaked too...but at least they had fun

took pics of them in water but light/exposure / movement and me trying to keep camera dry ended in the usual blurry mess !!!!DOH !

well got a few few reasonable ones , liked this one as it reminded me of the simplicity of rain and the beauty it can make
