So Mum told me that she loves this 'quiet time' between Christmas and New Years. Really? What 'quiet time'?? She's been doing laundry, clearing out, cleaning, sorting out her car, baking, cooking, entertaining (which I don't mind - I love visitors!). But 'quiet'? Hardly! Why can't she remember that we're 'on holiday' and just lounge around with me and a good book? In front of the fire?

It's a good thing I have I have my buddy - Dolly2. We cuddle up together and just watch Mum rush around!
