What a diverse bunch of beetles and other insects - it was a very enjoyable jigsaw to do.

We were invited to the home of some lovely pals to see in the NY tonight, but they live on the other side of the city and we couldn't figure out a way to get across town or, crucially, back again (the central area being closed off by a ring of steel, ticket only).  So we're hunkering down in Leith and shall wait to open all the windows wide and listen for the ships' hooters blaring out from the docks at the onset of midnight.
