Extremities

I love Beth Moore's books and I've just finished this one which is a collection of poems and recollections. This is the first verse of the poem 'Extremities',

"Satisfy me not with the lesser of you
Find me no solace in shadows of the True
No ordinary measures of extraordinary means
The depth, the length, and breath of You
And nothing in between. "

This is something I've thought a lot about this year - we shouldn't settle for less in our relationship with the Lord Jesus . We should always be wanting more of him.
