Sunshine and shadows

This was my view from my sofa this morning. A glorious sunny day - in sharp contrast to the awful weather others in the country are experiencing.

I was beginning to feel guilty about lack of rain here, but that's ridiculous

Spent an age in the phone with a fellow Blipper (we were friends before blip) and we had a real heart-to-heart conversation which gladdened my heart

We take friendship for granted so often but C really cheered me up and I hope I lifted her spirits as well

And talking of spirits, I'm going to have a champagne cocktail at the bells - a trickle of Drambuie in the bottom of a champagne flute and topped with the bubbly
