Sand Tree At Night

This is the same tree that I shot on Christmas Day, but during darkness this time. As I suspected then, the lights do indeed light up once the sun has disappeared for the day. I was also able to shoot it with my recently repaired 24-105 so I eliminated the fence that was so distracting in my previous capture. The town was alive with scads of people, the area around the basketball court was overflowing with families and vendors. An awesome time to people watch!
