One World Tree

A beautiful day today; bright and sunny with a breeze and not too cold.  A perfect day for a walk around the local lake which is roughly three and a half miles and a very pleasant walk. This tree part way round is the 'One World Tree', set in the grounds of the Buddhist Temple.  The lower part of the tree is covered in prayers and messages of hope that people have tied to the branches.  In the distance through the cherry trees planted to commemorate victims of war can be seen the Peace Pagoda which I have blipped before.

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and am looking forward to seeing all the special Blips in support of the Blipfuture crowdfunding tomorrow; although I've no idea yet what mine will be!
