Operator, operator!

Staying a couple of nights at my favourite pub for the new year. It is wonderfully old fashioned, ak ka the telephone system which really works, just like in an old fashioned movie.

The Christmas decorations are super, I think they must have cut up at least twenty trees to get the pine branches and raided all the holly and ivy trees in the village to cover the beams. The smell of pine and log fires is so cosy you just want to curl up and dose off!!
