A certain resemblance......

....to a black and white dog I play with every day.  There's something there - I can see it.

Except that they are a lot bigger and a lot colder than little Ern.  SHE thought transferred to me that although the sky is as blue as blue and sun is shining from dawn till dusk, it's bitterly cold.

It's also New Year's Eve and the party has started down there (or rather up there, on account of they are in the northern hemisphere, and in direct relation to us it's up there, not down there which would be the antarctic).....where was I?

Oh yes, they are not party people, so they are in their hotel room, where they will have an almighty feast and an early night.
