Ivy

A day catching up in the garden - picking up leaves, pruning and weeding. Nearby, this recently felled tree trunk caught my eye because of the thickness of the stems of ivy which had been growing up the bark. Another blustery night with some rain but much much better than the previous night. Bad flooding in Peebles with homes next to the River Tweed affected.
