A moment in the sun

As is usual for me, I have taken up a resolution but not done it on New Years Day as is customary for most others. December has been a month of excess so need to shed the extra couple of pounds that have gone on and so it is onto the bike to do a bit more exercise and a few less beers each week.

We had a ride out to Portobello which on the way and back was a mix of showers and wind but for a couple of minutes there was some amazing sunlight that appeared and lit up the sea defences and groynes on Portobello beach.

This was an ideal opportunity to snap a shot that I could use for the final Blip Challenge of the year which has a theme of Depth of Field. I used the line of the sea defences to lead you down to the colourful top of the Groyne.
