Just looking

Over the last two years since our financial situation has stabilised we've been gradually doing repairs and other stuff to make our small house more cosy and habitable.  We've finally got curtains at all the windows which actually fit and keep the light out and warmth in and one of the things on the list is to get a large rug for the floor in the front room to cover the gaps in the floorboards.

I had a mooch around the city this morning and was pretty much spoiled for choice in one of the independent shops in Norwich, Country and Eastern, which imports textiles, rugs and furniture from places like India and Pakistan.  It'll take about three months to save up for a rug the size we need.
