The bells, the bells ...

What a wet and wild day. Luckily other than a couple of mini trips out in the car we spent the day nice and warm inside.

One of our lovely friends visited and we had lots of fun, Leo triumphed at Monopoly once again, we had more fun with the handbells, we had a few games of 'get the ball in the mixing bowl' and did our best with a football quiz with the bossiest little quizmaster ever! I don't know why Leo was involved in asking the questions as he is the only one who has a clue about football.

We had planned to try out the cheese making kit Leo had for Christmas. Having got it all out ready to go, we failed at the first step which said, you need 8 pints of full day milk! We didn't have a single drop of that in the house so it all got packed away again.

Then I got some indoor miles in - still trying to get to Rome by year end. I have left myself 9 miles to do on New Year's Eve so should be doable. I have a day of retail therapy planned with mum so that should take care of a fair few miles :)
