The Bivouac

I waited and waited for some snow to arrive to try to take some pictures of the wreaths at the national cemetery. But, I could wait no longer. I think they might remove them after the New Year arrives.

Lisa and I went to the cemetery on December 12th, with the intent of helping place the wreaths. On the main road, there was a 6 mile backup, so I took some back roads, only to get stuck in another jam. We finally turned around and went home. On the 11 p.m. news, they reported that over 5 thousand people showed up to help.

I'm having some first date jitters with the new Nikon, but I'm hoping we can work things out.
